Why Is Document Storage Important?
Written by Letitia on April 15, 2010 – 11:56 am -We have all seen in the news in the last year how sensitive documents sometimes end up in the wrong hands or in a place they shouldn’t be. If it isn’t a government document being left on a train, Hotmail password information or the latest Harry Potter script on a pub table then it is something else. This is why for businesses, document storage is paramount.
One way to loose the trust of your clientèle is to loose the information that they entrust with you, whether it is a receipt, address details, medical information the more sensitive the information the more important it is to be kept safe.
Despite being in a digital age there are some laws that mean that certain documents need to be kept as a hard copy and for several years. The best way to deal with problem is to look into document storage facilities; this can keep sensitive information secure, organised and protected from damp, fires and other damaging factors.

Written by Letitia on March 8, 2010 – 10:40 am -I have a few bones to pick with product designers this week; I was out the other night in a bar and decided I really wanted some water. So I ordered some at the bar and the barman appeared with a bottle of water and said ‘that’ll be five pounds please’. I just looked at him with my mouth slightly open… ‘Five pounds? Are you joking?’ He shook his head and put his palm out for the cash. Unbelievable.
So feeling rather fed up and still really thirsty I attempted to ask for some tap water-as surely that was free right? Right? Wrong. He shook his head and pointed to the bottle of water and asked me again for the extortionate amount. I could not believe it, as if the cocktails in this place weren’t expensive enough.

Chauffeur Hire-High Maintenance? Me?
Written by Letitia on February 25, 2010 – 12:12 pm -So this weekend I am off to Liverpool for a pretty girly weekend, cannot wait. Have a new LBD, new shoes all lovingly waiting in my cupboard to be worn and partied in. What’s even better is that on Saturday my friend and I will be having our hair cut, coloured and styled before we go out. We shall also have eyelash extensions (hey out with the wags got to look like a wag) and are going to have our nails done. If that wasn’t enough we plan to have our make up done by Chanel and my friend is seriously considering chauffeur hire.
Well, why not. I hardly ever get to see my friends up in Liverpool so I feel like it’s the perfect excuse to let our (perfectly styled) hair down. I don’t think I have ever had chauffeur hire for just a night out before but it will definitely be an experience.

Photo Books and Iconic Images
Written by Letitia on February 19, 2010 – 12:48 pm -Sorry I have been away, been struck down with the dreaded flu and my eyes have been so itchy and swollen looking at a computer screen was the least thing I felt like doing. But I am back now! With a horrid red nose and pale complexion but I shall struggle on. Whilst I was sneezing and wheezing on my sofa I managed to find some of the old photo books I made when I was younger. I basically used to glue in photos that I loved, from films, adverts and my own images. Its a great way of keeping memories because not only do I now remember what I used to look like, I can also see what things I was into at the time which I would have probably forgotten.
I have now vowed to make some new updated photo books so I can keep them forever. As it is Friday I will post some iconic photos that I love for your viewing pleasure.

Photo Books Of Memories
Written by Letitia on February 3, 2010 – 3:53 pm -It’s funny what looking at photo books will do to you, bit hits of nostalgia. I don’t know about you but when I was younger I thought that I would never grow up. ‘Never wish away your childhood’ I was always being told-but it was difficult to appreciate how simple things were then. Now just looking through all of my old photos I can see how quickly life flies by. I remember thinking that three years at university would take forever-but they didn’t. In fact they flew by and looking back at all the photo books that I made I feel rather strange, good memories, sad memories but what’s the strangest is seeing how everyone has changed.
I imagine it will just get weirder too, I mean, as I get older then the change will be even more dramatic and the memories more distant. I guess the photos will help you to remember things you might have forgotten…

Welcome To The Adult World Of Business Finance & The Clothes Horse
Written by Letitia on January 14, 2010 – 3:35 pm -It’s only been a year and a half since I left university and joined the real world, you know, the one with taxes and no tooth fairy? Yeah that one, but I still don’t think I have quite managed to get my head round being a fully functioning adult, because in my brain I am still eighteen. It is funny, because maturity does creep up on you slowly and hits you on hard in the face one evening. How did I conclude this? Well there are several things leading up to one main thing that happened to me to make me realise that I am, well growing up.
1) I went to a gig at Brixton Academy and thought the drinks were over-priced/ the band came on too late (1am till 3am!)/ I didn’t know what Methadrone was (plant food?) So not down with the kids…

Snow Joke!
Written by Letitia on January 7, 2010 – 5:00 pm -I am going to be completely predictable and uninspiring here and talk about the snow we have had for the last couple of days, you may have noticed it. 4’Oclock at Bayswater Waitrose was a complete kafuffle, people buying cans of baked beans everywhere. Even I began to get a bit nervy when I realised how worried everyone looked. I love how Britain over reacts about things like snow. Pray for our souls, we all have swine flu and now ice! Repent!
Yet at the same time I totally appreciate there maybe people reading this (yeah maybe) who are thinking, you swine, I have been snowed in for three days and am licking the condensation off the windows to survive. Well fair play to you, come live in Central London, snow doesn’t really settle and they grit the pavement. So it’s a bit like an orange snow occurred in the night…anyway…
Posted in Stuff | No Comments »Two Thousand and Ten Pounds
Written by Letitia on January 4, 2010 – 10:01 am -I can’t help but feel that 2010 sounds like a super futuristic date and it feels really strange to think that here we are. So I guess this is where all the new resolutions begin, I have been thinking about what I want to change and my New Year resolutions. But to be honest I began my resolutions just before Christmas. Cunning, I know. My resolution has been to loose weight and I figured that if I started the strict diet before Christmas then I could have some serious indulgence over the holiday. So I lost around nine pounds before Christmas and I haven’t weighed myself yet, but I am guessing that I have put some on since. Christmas was filled with cheese, white fluffy carb-heavy bread, cold meats and lashings of champagne. I am not kidding; I am surprised I could even get out of bed today with the amount of food I have put back. You ever seen the film What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Yeah. It’s like that. For real! Well, let’s see what 2010 brings and carry on with the diet, sat here looking forlornly at the apple on my desk. Happy New Year!

Written by Letitia on December 21, 2009 – 11:53 am -Now like any ordinary 23 year old, being taken to Chanel to choose your Christmas present is very, very exciting. But this weekend in Bond Street was not as fun or as exciting as I wanted it to be! First of all we had to spend ages in Selfridges choosing expensive cookware for the parents-which wasn’t too enthralling. In fact it was really boring and stressful. So by the time we reached Chanel I was very happy. I love Chanel, have done since I was younger and I am well aware that the staff in there can be pretty snobbish but I really wasn’t prepared for the unfriendly reception that I received.

Written by Letitia on December 18, 2009 – 4:13 pm -Call me a Scrooge but I really do not enjoy sending cards at Christmas, I always forget names, addresses and end up forgetting to post them. That and I cannot bare all of the poor trees that must be chopped down to provide for a card that is essentially put on a mantelpiece for two weeks. So this year I have decided to solve this issue by sending all of my friend’s Ecards! So simple and easy I can add all of my contacts with the click of a button and save the environment at the same time. Perfect really!
So I think that if you want to save some trees this Christmas you should definitely send an ecard, so none of your friends are left out and the environment doesn’t suffer!-
